Nora Jeane's Story
Life
Have recently been united with my first true love, Burt Holm. My first love back when I was 14 years old. After over thirty years of staying in touch with his family at Christmas time, and at the right moments in our lives, his mother told Burt I had signed my Christmas card in my maiden name. He being divorced at the time decided to contact me, and we met for lunch. That was two years ago. Now we are married. November 4th, 2006. He has a son who I love as my own. He is 11 years old and his name is Matthew. Burt and I are very compatable, and I am very happy that he enjoys the same things as I. My farm, 5 horses, and the great outdoors. I work as a nurse for a large anesthesia firm in Va Beach and Norfolk. Would like to hear from some old friends, so please contact me via my e-mail address. I would love to hear from you. Jeane

When I was 15, I started working with a "work permit" at the Princess Ann Country Club. I worked in their snack bar at the pool serving all of the rich little kids whos parents were member...Expand for more
s. I graduated to the main kitchen durring the winter months, then served their parents. This is were I met my first husband, Brian. I went to nursing school while I was a senoir in High school. Graduated early with my degree and went to work as a student nurse at Va Beach general in the orthopedic department. I passed my state license boards, and have wroked as a nurse in many areas. Dr Nakanishi's office, private duty, etc. In 1980 I went to work at Senatra Leigh Hospital. There I have worked med-surg, orthopedics, Monitor Tech,(monitoring patients during surgery), and then in the operating room were I was offered a job with the anesthesia firm that now gives anesthesia there. I enjoy my work, and know many people around me. I have to say I have seen many people come and go. I now work Sentara Leigh, Norfolk General, and Heart Hospital on a rotation basis, seeing patients for the anesthesia group.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a wonderful idea. As it turns out, they were right.
